Jelly Roll made his debut as a musical guest on the season 50 premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 28. He performed two new songs, “Liar” and “Winning Streak,” from his upcoming album, Beautifully Broken, set for release on October 11. His first song, “Liar,” addresses themes of addiction and materialism. The second performance, “Winning Streak,” reflects on attending an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Both songs showcased his vocal talent and positive energy. Next week, comedian Nate Bargatze will host SNL again, with Coldplay returning as the musical guest. Coldplay has appeared on the show multiple times since their first performance in 2001.
