Jenna Bush Hager explains decision not to transfer to Yale to join sister Barbara
Jenna Bush Hager shared on "Today With Hoda & Jenna" that she considered transferring to Yale University to be with her twin sister, Barbara. However, she was deterred when told she could only audit classes without grades. Bush Hager attended the University of Texas at Austin while her sister went to Yale. She enjoyed visiting Barbara but realized living together could create complications, leading her to stay at her own school. She also discussed her college application experience, noting that Barbara was accepted everywhere she applied. Jenna's father, former President George W. Bush, advised her against applying to Stanford to avoid jeopardizing Barbara's chances.
