Jennifer Lopez buys new home near Los Angeles

Jennifer Lopez has moved on from her marriage to Ben Affleck by purchasing a new home in Los Angeles for about $18 million. This acquisition comes shortly after she finalized her divorce from Affleck on January 6, 2025. Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, 2024, which was their second wedding anniversary. She began looking for a new home in April 2024, around the same time she formally separated from Affleck. Initially, she considered a private home in Beverly Hills but ultimately chose a different location. In July 2024, Lopez and Affleck listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million. They had bought the property together in June 2023 for just under $61 million. The home remains unsold after being on the market for some time. Meanwhile, Affleck purchased a new home for $20.5 million in Los Angeles. This house is described as family-friendly but has potential to be a bachelor pad. Interestingly, Affleck's purchase coincided with Lopez's 55th birthday, which was also the day she sold her New York City condo for $23 million.
