Jeremy London defends Stephen Collins in new series

Actor Jeremy London, known for his role on “7th Heaven,” has defended Stephen Collins in a new series called “Hollywood Demons.” This show, premiering on Investigation Discovery, explores various scandals in Hollywood. The first episode focuses on Collins, who confessed in 2014 to sexually assaulting three underage girls, although he was never charged. London, who played a young minister on the long-running series, said he never saw any inappropriate behavior from Collins. He expressed his affection for Collins, calling him "most certainly America’s dad." London added that the allegations against Collins upset him, indicating a strong emotional response. Last year, fellow “7th Heaven” stars launched a rewatch podcast, where they acknowledged Collins' past. Beverley Mitchell, one of the co-hosts, emphasized the need to address the situation before continuing with the show discussions. The documentary series will also examine the lives of other former child actors and various scandals. “Hollywood Demons” will air weekly starting March 24 and can be streamed on Max.
