Jessica Ludgrove appointed VP of production at Studio 99
Studio 99, a production company co-founded by David Beckham, has named Jessica Ludgrove as vice president of production. She will report to the company's president, Nicola Howson. Ludgrove starts her new role right away. In her position, she will oversee the company’s development and production efforts. This includes the upcoming docuseries about Victoria Beckham, which is a project being co-produced with Dorothy St. Pictures. Ludgrove brings over 20 years of experience in the industry. She previously held senior roles at Universal Pictures Content Group and Passion Pictures. At Universal, she helped develop various titles, while at Passion Pictures, she worked on award-winning films like "The Rescue" and "Rising Phoenix." Howson praised Ludgrove’s experience, saying it would enhance the team as they create high-quality content. Ludgrove expressed her excitement to join and help expand the company’s documentary projects. Studio 99, launched in 2021, has gained recognition for its work, including the Emmy-winning series "Beckham." Other notable projects include the series "99" and the feature documentary "Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything." A new series titled "Sneaker Wars: Adidas vs Puma" is set to debut this year on Disney+. The Victoria Beckham series is expected to be released on Netflix in 2025.
