Jessie Buckley records new Hamnet audiobook for May release

Actor Jessie Buckley is set to record a new audiobook version of Maggie O’Farrell’s novel Hamnet. This audiobook will be released on May 8, 2025. Additionally, Tinder Press will republish O’Farrell’s earlier works with new covers to celebrate 25 years of her publishing career. Buckley, who plays a role in the upcoming film adaptation of Hamnet, expressed her excitement about reading the audiobook. She shared that she had a wonderful experience with the characters in the book and felt deeply moved by the story. Maggie O’Farrell praised Buckley’s performance in the film, calling it stunning and defining for her career. O’Farrell is thrilled Buckley will be the voice of the audiobook, noting her deep understanding of the story. Hamnet has received several awards, including the 2020 Women’s Prize for Fiction. The 25th Anniversary Editions of O’Farrell’s books will be available on March 27, 2025.
