Jets interview former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff for open position
The New York Jets have interviewed former Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff for their GM position. This follows the firing of Joe Douglas last month. Dimitroff, who led the Falcons from 2008 to 2020, is the first known candidate. The Jets plan to interview former Titans GM Jon Robinson this week and ESPN analyst Louis Riddick soon. They can interview candidates not currently employed by NFL teams but must wait until after the season for others. In player news, cornerback D.J. Reed missed a game due to a groin injury. Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams sustained a hamstring injury, and safety Jalen Mills injured his collarbone during the game.
