JetZero finalizes supplier contracts for flight control systems of blended wing body demonstrator
JetZero has completed contracts with major suppliers for the Flight Control System of its blended wing body (BWB) demonstrator. This marks a significant step toward building the aircraft, with test flights planned to start in 2027. The selected suppliers include BAE Systems, Moog, Safran, Thales, and Woodward, each providing advanced components that enhance safety and performance. The hardware is already used in commercial aircraft, reducing risks for certification. JetZero aims to create a BWB airplane that cuts fuel use and carbon emissions by 50%. The company plans to enter commercial service by 2030, collaborating with the U.S. Air Force, NASA, and the FAA.
