Jim Gaffigan shares weight loss journey and Mounjaro experience in New York City

Jim Gaffigan, 58, discussed his weight loss journey and the impact of the drug Mounjaro at the Stand Up for Heroes Gala in New York City. He initially hesitated to use the drug due to concerns about nausea but found it effective. Gaffigan shared his struggles with emotional eating and the stigma surrounding weight loss medications. He noted that he weighed around 270 pounds when he decided to make a change and plans to address these topics in his upcoming Hulu special, The Skinny, releasing on November 22. In addition to his weight loss journey, Gaffigan is also selling small batches of bourbon, inspired by his wife. He mentioned that they produce a few thousand bottles every six months.
