J.K. Dobbins expected to sign with Pittsburgh Steelers

Former Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins is the top available player in free agency. He had a strong season in 2024, achieving career highs with 905 rushing yards and 153 receiving yards, along with nine touchdowns. However, after the Chargers signed Najee Harris from the Steelers, Dobbins is expected to find a new team for 2025. The Pittsburgh Steelers are seen as a potential fit for Dobbins. The team did not re-sign Harris and is searching for a new starting running back. Dobbins previously played for the Baltimore Ravens, a division rival, which gives Pittsburgh some familiarity with him. Currently, the Steelers have Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell on their roster, but neither is a clear number one running back. Dobbins could step in as the top back for the Steelers.
