J.Kumar Infra wins ₹1,020 crore contract in Navi Mumbai
Shares of J.Kumar Infraprojects rose nearly 4% today after the company announced it won a significant contract worth ₹1,020.70 crore from CIDCO. This project involves building a coastal road and a pedestrian underpass in Navi Mumbai. J.Kumar Infra's stock has performed well recently. It gained 12% over the past year and an impressive 892% over the last five years. The company's market value is now around ₹5,275 crore. Mukul Mahavir Agrawal, a notable investor, owns a 2.61% stake in the company. The stock opened at ₹685 today, up from its previous close of ₹678.15, and reached a high of ₹705 during trading. Despite today’s gain, J.Kumar Infra's stock is still down 9.10% so far this year. However, it has recovered 4.71% in the past month. This announcement marks the second major order for J.Kumar Infra this month. Earlier, the company secured a ₹120.87 crore order from Railway Vikas Corporation Limited.
