JNTU-Gurajada to offer new certificate courses soon

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Gurajada (JNTU-GV) in Vizianagaram will soon offer new certificate courses. This initiative aims to help engineering students gain extra skills alongside their main studies. Vice-Chancellor Dr. D. Rajya Lakshmi announced this plan during the Graduation Day event at Avanthi Engineering College. Dr. Rajya Lakshmi encouraged affiliated colleges to also introduce short-term courses. She believes these courses will improve students' skills and increase their job prospects. The university plans to offer courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and data sciences once they receive the necessary approvals. At the same event, Avanthi Group chairperson M. Srinivasa Rao shared that around 1,100 students secured jobs in well-known software companies. He highlighted the government's efforts in Andhra Pradesh, which will create many job opportunities through agreements with various companies investing large amounts of money in the state.
