"Jolly LLB 3" releases September 19, 2025

Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are set to star in Jolly LLB 3, a courtroom comedy directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film will hit theaters on September 19, 2025. This marks the return of both actors to their roles, with Akshay portraying Jolly Tyagi and Arshad as Jagdish Mishra. The Jolly LLB series began in 2013, featuring Arshad in the lead role, while Akshay joined the sequel in 2017. The latest installment promises to tackle a unique and complex legal case. Saurabh Shukla will reprise his role as the judge, adding continuity to the series. Reports say that the release date was adjusted to make room for another Akshay Kumar film, Kesari 2, which is set to come out on April 18, 2025. Karan Johar, the producer of Kesari 2, requested the change, and Akshay agreed. Arshad mentioned that they filmed an intense fight scene between him and Akshay in one take. He expressed excitement about the challenging nature of the shoot, noting that it resulted in some injuries. Filming for Jolly LLB 3 has been ongoing since 2024, with locations including Mumbai and Rajasthan. Alongside the main stars, the film features Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao in supporting roles.
