Jonna Perdido sidelined for UST's UAAP Season 87 volleyball campaign due to ACL injury
Jonna Perdido will not play in the University of Santo Tomas' UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball campaign due to a torn ACL in her left knee. She underwent successful surgery last week and faces a recovery period of six to nine months. Perdido's injury occurred during a match against Far Eastern University in November. She was a key player last season, helping UST reach the finals. The team will now rely on other players to fill her role. UST's volleyball season begins on February 15. The team retains several players from last year's finals, including team captain Detdet Pepito and setter Cassie Carballo.
