Joseph B. Lord, 88, Korean War veteran, passed away

Joseph B. Lord has passed away at the age of 88. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Army. He was married to Patricia Lord, nee Clark. Joseph was a loving father to seven children: Paul, Pam, Carol, Eileen, Michael, Maureen, and Mary Beth. He was also a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to three. He is survived by many siblings, nieces, and nephews. Visitation for Joseph will be on Monday, March 24th, starting at 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Darien. He will be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 25th. Joseph retired from Campbell Soup. He graduated from Joliet Catholic High School and DePaul University. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish.
