Joseph Chevrolet employee faces new felony charges after dealership shooting

Rashid Dewees, a 21-year-old employee of Joseph Chevrolet, has been indicted on new felony charges after a shooting incident at the dealership. He faces two counts of felonious assault and one count of inducing panic, in addition to previous misdemeanor charges. The incident occurred when Dewees allegedly pointed a gun and fired shots inside the showroom, prompting an evacuation. Police arrived to find chaos, with people fleeing the scene, and arrested Dewees without further incident. Dewees is currently out on bond for the misdemeanor charges and is prohibited from returning to the dealership.
