Joshua Bock pleads guilty to child pornography charges

A 32-year-old man named Joshua Bock has pleaded guilty to charges related to child pornography in a federal court. This information comes from the US Attorney’s Office in Southern Ohio. Bock admitted to distributing and possessing child sexual abuse material. He could face 15 to 40 years in prison for distributing this material, along with an additional 10 to 20 years for possession. In September 2024, the Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received multiple complaints about Bock. Witnesses reported seeing him naked and masturbating in his home near a school bus stop, which some children saw. Bock was arrested for public indecency. During the investigation, authorities found over 3,500 images and videos of child sexual abuse on devices seized from his home, including laptops and phones. Bock has a previous conviction for crimes involving a 9-year-old victim. He is currently being held in federal custody.
