JSW Defence partners with Shield AI to produce military drones in India

JSW Defence has partnered with US company Shield AI to manufacture the V-BAT unmanned aerial system in India. This collaboration aims to enhance India's defense capabilities by introducing advanced UAS technology. JSW will invest approximately $90 million over two years, with $65 million in the first year. The funds will establish a manufacturing facility and a local supply chain for the V-BAT, which is used by various armed forces globally.
