Judge mandates cleanup of Syracuse property by April 26
A judge has ordered Charles Kammar, owner of Kammar’s Restaurant Equipment in Syracuse, to clean up an "appliance graveyard" on city property. He must remove all equipment and junk from his properties by April 26. Kammar has faced ongoing code violations related to fire safety and property maintenance since being notified in October 2023. He failed to meet previous cleanup deadlines and has been warned multiple times. In addition to the outdoor cleanup, Kammar must also address code violations inside his building at 926 Wolf St. before a court date set for May 6.
