A Cook County judge has ordered a woman to stay away from all Tesla properties after she was accused of vandalizing a local showroom. The woman, Erin L. White, is 26 years old and from Buffalo Grove. She faces charges of criminal damage to property and misdemeanor criminal trespass. During a court hearing on Wednesday, Judge Ellen Mandeltort warned White that she could face jail time if she violates the order. The vandalism reportedly caused around $9,000 in damage at the Tesla facility on Dundee Road on March 14. According to police, a witness saw White spray-painting political messages on the windows of the showroom. Another witness recorded the act using their vehicle's dashboard camera. Police found four cans of spray paint and a receipt for the items at a home improvement store. White has no prior criminal record and admitted to the vandalism when questioned by police. She is scheduled to appear in court again on May 2.
