Juhi Chawla reminisces about KKR's jersey color change

Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan are well-known co-stars and close friends. They have worked together on several films and are also business partners in the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) cricket team. In a recent documentary called "Living with KKR," Juhi shared an interesting story. She recalled a time when she told Shah Rukh that she believed the color black was unlucky for their team. After a tough losing streak, she said she would not watch matches with him because of her superstition. The team later changed their jersey color from black to purple. Juhi also shared memories of Shah Rukh when he was just starting his career in Mumbai. She remembered how he didn’t have a home and would often stay with the film crew, enjoying meals and drinks with them. He was very dedicated, working multiple shifts on films like "Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman" and "Dil Aashna Hai" in the early '90s. At that time, Shah Rukh had a black Gypsy car, but he lost it due to financial issues. Juhi comforted him by saying he would have many cars in the future. She noted that he still remembers that moment, as he has indeed become very successful.
