Jury sworn in for civil trial against Conor McGregor in Dublin
A jury has been sworn in at the High Court in Dublin for a civil case against Conor McGregor and another man, accused of sexually assaulting a woman in December 2018. The case is focused on whether the alleged assault occurred, not on criminal charges. Justice Alexander Owens instructed the jury to base their decision solely on the evidence presented in court. He emphasized that they should not conduct independent research or discuss the case outside the courtroom. The trial is expected to last about two weeks. McGregor attended the court wearing a white shirt and blue suit.
