Jury views CCTV footage of Tristan Sherry's fatal beating in Dublin restaurant murder trial

A jury has been shown CCTV footage of Tristan Sherry being fatally beaten at Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown on December 24, 2023. Three men are charged with his murder, while three others face charges of violent disorder related to the incident. Prosecution counsel described how Sherry shot Jason Hennessy Snr before being attacked by a group. Defence lawyers have raised objections regarding the prosecution's narrative of the CCTV footage, although five of the six accused have accepted their identification. The trial continues with the three murder defendants: Noah Musueni, David Amah, and Michael Andrecut. Wayne Deegan, also charged with murder, will be tried later. Other defendants are charged with violent disorder, and all have pleaded not guilty.
