K-pop stars join Squid Game season 2 with T.O.P as new villain

The second season of Netflix's popular series Squid Game was released on December 26, 2024. The show continues to follow contestants in deadly challenges for a chance at wealth, maintaining its strong appeal since the first season launched in 2021. This season features notable K-pop stars, including Jo Yuri, a former member of the girl group Iz*One, who plays Player 222. Choi Seunghyun, known as T.O.P from BIGBANG, portrays the villain Thanos, a failed rapper with a troubled past. Lee Byunghun returns as Hwang Inho, also known as The Front Man. He is a well-known actor in both South Korea and Hollywood. Squid Game season 2 is now available for streaming on Netflix.
