Kaitlyn Bristowe shares awkward Trump encounter on podcast

Kaitlyn Bristowe, a former star of The Bachelor, shared an awkward encounter she had with Donald Trump during her podcast, Off the Vine. In a recent episode, Bristowe was speaking with country singer Russell Dickerson about crowd energy at concerts when she recounted a time when she was a cheerleader for the Canadian Football League. Bristowe recalled performing at an Aflac convention where Trump was present. She mistakenly said it was in 2019, but quickly corrected herself to say it happened around 2006 or 2007. She described the atmosphere as uncomfortable because the audience members were not ready to enjoy the show yet, simply standing in suits. Later in the podcast, Dickerson discussed his new song Bones. This discussion made Bristowe emotional as he explained different usages of the word "bones" in the lyrics. She mentioned feeling a strong emotional response, sharing a light-hearted moment about almost getting teary-eyed. Kaitlyn Bristowe gained fame on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor in 2015, and she later led The Bachelorette that same year. She won Season 29 of Dancing With the Stars in November 2020.
