Kalaburagi honors Namoshi for advocating teacher pay increases

Teachers in Kalaburagi honored MLC Shashil G. Namoshi for his support. He recently spoke in the Council about the need for pay increases for high school teachers. This issue has been a long-standing demand for teachers in the region. Venkatesh Chinnur, the state secretary of the teachers association, thanked Mr. Namoshi for his efforts. He highlighted how Namoshi raised the topic during a Council session on March 19. The teachers appreciate his concern and advocacy for their rights. In response to the concerns raised, the Minister for School Education, Madhu Bangarappa, made a promise. He said a committee will be formed to discuss the situation further. The committee will work with the Chief Minister to decide on possible actions.
