Kalaburagi Police return 55 recovered mobile phones

The Kalaburagi District Police have returned 55 mobile phones to their owners. These phones are valued at about ₹8.05 lakh. Superintendent of Police Adduru Srinivasulu shared the news during a press conference on Monday. He explained that the police received reports of lost and stolen phones through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal and the Karnataka State Police app. The police registered cases based on these complaints and worked to track down the missing phones. The recovered devices were reported lost or stolen between September 2024 and February 2025. Mr. Srinivasulu noted that the phones were often taken during travel, misplaced, or snatched by unknown individuals. The recovery effort reflects the police's commitment to helping citizens regain their lost property.
