Kamath brothers gift mother a Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV

Nikhil and Nithin Kamath, co-founders of Zerodha, surprised their mother, Revathi Kamath, with a luxury Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV for her birthday. She expressed her happiness on social media, sharing a heartfelt message and a photo of the moment. Revathi received the car keys along with a ceremonial shawl and traditional turban. Her post was met with many congratulatory messages from friends and followers. The Mercedes-Benz GLS is known as the "S-Class of SUVs" and comes in two models, the GLS 450 petrol and GLS 450d diesel. In India, the petrol model costs about Rs 1.33 crore and the diesel version is priced at Rs 1.39 crore. The latest GLS features a refreshed design with a four-slat grille, new LED lights, and sporty bumpers. It rides on sleek 21-inch alloy wheels and offers five color options. Inside, it has three interior colors and high-end features like a modern steering wheel, advanced infotainment system, and a 360-degree camera. The diesel variant is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that delivers 367 bhp, while the petrol version produces 381 bhp. Both models include EQ Boost technology for better performance. They are equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, and can handle water-wading depths of 500 mm.
