Kameron Marlowe to perform at NYS Fair concert
The New York State Fair has announced a concert for 2025 featuring country artist Kameron Marlowe. He will perform on Saturday, August 23, at 6 p.m. at Chevy Court. The concert is free with admission to the fair. This announcement surprised many country fans who guessed differently based on the fair's social media clues. Fair officials used an image of two people holding the letter "U" to hint at Marlowe’s hit song “Giving You Up.” Only four people correctly guessed the artist out of more than 300 comments on Facebook. Kameron Marlowe is known for songs like “Girl on Fire” and “Strangers.” He has also collaborated with well-known artists such as Megan Moroney and Marcus King. MusicRow Magazine has called him “one of our greatest living country singers.” The New York State Fair will feature over 40 national recording acts this year. A new five-year agreement with Romeo Entertainment Group includes plans for upgrades at the main stages. Chevy Court will host two shows daily, while the larger Suburban Park stage will have an evening concert each night. The fair will run from Wednesday, August 20, to Labor Day, September 1, 2025. Other notable acts include Cheap Trick, Kidz Bop, and Busta Rhymes, among others. Entry to the fair costs $8 for adults, while admission is free for children under 12 and seniors aged 65 and older.
