Kane County promotes child abuse prevention in April
The Kane County Health Department is organizing events for Child Abuse Prevention Month in April. These programs aim to raise awareness and educate the community about child safety. On March 28, a behavioral health training session will focus on child advocacy centers. A webinar on recognizing and reporting child abuse will take place on April 2. Additionally, the department will participate in "Wear Blue Day" on April 4 and share resources on its Facebook page. A pinwheel garden will be planted at their office to support child abuse prevention efforts.
