Kansas to resume tour after frontman’s recovery
Rock band Kansas is set to return to touring after frontman Ronnie Platt announced successful surgery for thyroid cancer. Platt shared on Facebook that he is recovering well and looks forward to performing again. The band had canceled several shows last month while Platt prepared for surgery. They plan to resume their tour on April 4, pending his full recovery. Platt, who joined Kansas in 2014, had previously revealed his diagnosis in February, stating that the cancer was contained and had a 99% survival rate.
