Kanye West and Adidas settle legal dispute over Yeezy partnership termination
Kanye West and Adidas have settled their legal dispute over the termination of their Yeezy partnership, which ended in 2022 after West made antisemitic remarks. The settlement involves no financial exchanges, and both parties have withdrawn their claims.
Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden stated that there are no remaining issues between the two parties. He described the end of the partnership as unfortunate, noting it was one of the most successful collaborations in history.
Following the split, Adidas faced challenges with over £1 billion in Yeezy stock. The company chose to sell the stock and donate part of the proceeds to anti-hate organizations, generating around $437 million from the initial sales.
