Karl Vilips to debut Tiger Woods' new golf shoes

Karl Vilips, a rookie on the PGA Tour, will wear new shoes from Tiger Woods' Sun Day Red collection at the Valspar Championship. This event takes place at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. At just 23 years old, Vilips has quickly made a name for himself in golf. He is the first ambassador for Woods' brand, Sun Day Red. Recently, he won the Utah Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour and was named Rookie of the Year in 2024. This success helped him secure his PGA Tour card. Vilips won his first PGA Tour event at the Puerto Rico Open. This victory qualified him for The PLAYERS tournament and gave him a card for the next two years. During this week’s tournament, he will wear the new Pioneer Magnolia performance shoes, which were launched just recently. The Pioneer Magnolia shoes are designed for stability and control during a golf swing. They feature a low-profile sole and a flexible design. The shoes look like traditional wingtip styles but include modern details. They come in three colors: off-white and brick, white and silver, and black and silver. The off-white and brick color combination has been highlighted as particularly stylish. The shoes are priced at $275 and mark the second release from Sun Day Red, which began after Woods separated from Nike in January 2024. As the brand approaches its first anniversary, it continues to expand, offering clothing, shoes, and golf accessories.
