Karnataka minister praises ISRO for successful satellite docking achievement

Karnataka Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao praised the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for successfully docking two satellites, marking India as the fourth country to achieve this feat. He highlighted the significance of ISRO's contributions over the past 70 years. ISRO announced the successful docking process, known as SpaDeX, which involved precise maneuvers from 15 meters to a 3-meter hold point. The control of the two satellites as a single object was confirmed, with further checks planned. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Jitendra Singh also acknowledged the achievement, calling it a significant step for future space missions, including the Bharatiya Antriksha Station and Chandrayaan-4.
