Karole Anne Frank, notable Chicago nurse, has died
Karole Anne Frank, a beloved wife, mother, and nursing pioneer, passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 86. She was known for her dedication to caring for others and was a graduate of St. Anthony’s School of Nursing. Karole made a significant impact in her community by opening the outpatient care department at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago. Her commitment to nursing touched the lives of many patients and their families. She is survived by her husband Marvin, her daughter Rachel, and her granddaughters Maura and Lana. Karole was preceded in death by her daughter Alison and siblings Margaret and Robert. Friends and family remember her as a kind person with a radiant smile. Her legacy of love and compassion will be cherished by those who knew her. A service to celebrate her life is scheduled for March 20, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to Anshe Emet Synagogue.
