Karthikeya Dev plays Ajith Kumar's son in "Good Bad Ugly."

Karthikeya Dev has been cast as Ajith Kumar's son in the upcoming film Good Bad Ugly. The news was revealed by director Adhik Ravichandran in an interview. He mentioned that the film will focus on the emotional bond between the father and son, with a strong action theme. Karthikeya Dev is known for his role as young Vardha Raja Mannar in the film Salaar. This project marks his debut in Tamil cinema. In his interview, the director emphasized that the father-son relationship will be a highlight of the film, appealing to family audiences. Good Bad Ugly is set to release in theaters on April 10, 2025. The film was originally scheduled for January 10 but was postponed. It will be available in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Karthikeya has also worked on L2: Empuraan, which features Mohanlal and is set to hit theaters on March 28. He is currently awaiting the release of Tuk Tuk, directed by Supreeth C Krishna. The film's music is by G V Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by Abinadhan Ramanujam and editing by Vijay Velukutty.
