The story focuses on her quest for justice after her best friend's husband is shot by a white police officer. Graham was drawn to the project because of its real-world significance. She has personal experience with gun violence, having lost her brother to it a few years ago. She connected deeply with the character's motivations, stating, “I knew I had to be part of telling this story.” Graham hopes the film will spark important discussions about police violence and systemic injustice. Beyond acting, Graham is actively involved in social justice efforts. She has worked with the United Nations since 2013 and is a Goodwill Ambassador for refugee rights. She also partners with organizations like Rotary International on humanitarian initiatives. She believes her role in the film allows her to voice the concerns of marginalized communities. In 2020, Graham produced a PSA for the Black Lives Matter movement. She emphasized that the message about justice is still crucial today. “If this film makes even one person more aware, then we’ve done our job,” she said.
