The sequel continues the story of Joy and Ethan, focusing on their struggles and sacrifices. In the film, Ethan becomes an OFW in Canada, facing challenges while searching for Joy. The production team conducted research with Filipinos in Alberta to accurately portray their experiences and the theme of sacrifice. "Hello, Love, Again" also explores the impact of the pandemic on Joy and Ethan's relationship. The film will premiere in the Philippines and screen in various locations across Asia, North America, and the Middle East in November.
