Kaue Fernandes wins decisively at UFC London

UFC London began with an exciting matchup between Kaue Fernandes and Guram Kutateladze. Fernandes dominated the fight and secured a unanimous decision victory after three rounds. UFC stars Ilia Topuria and Khamzat Chimaev watched from Kutateladze’s corner. The fight kicked off with Fernandes landing a stunning high kick that knocked Kutateladze down in the first round. Kutateladze tried to fight back but struggled to gain control. In the second round, Fernandes floored Kutateladze again with a powerful low kick. Despite being hurt, Kutateladze managed to get back up, as Fernandes chose to keep the fight standing. Fernandes continued to land heavy leg kicks, leaving Kutateladze visibly injured. By the end of the final round, Kutateladze was bleeding from his nose, and the judges awarded Fernandes the victory. Fernandes has a long history in combat sports, beginning training at age five. He is a black belt in Muay Thai and admires fighters like Jose Aldo and Jon Jones. After turning pro in 2014, he won nine of his eleven fights, with five by knockout. This was only his third fight in the UFC, following a debut loss in November 2023 and a knockout win earlier this year.
