Kentucky announces 2025 baseball schedule featuring 11 NCAA Tournament teams

The University of Kentucky baseball team announced its 2025 schedule, featuring 11 opponents from the 2024 NCAA Tournament, including two that reached the College World Series. This marks a shift as Kentucky will now be viewed as a top contender. The Wildcats will play 53 games, with 29 at home and 24 on the road. They will face in-state rivals and compete against all 15 teams in the Southeastern Conference, including series against Auburn, Mississippi, and new members Oklahoma and Texas. Kentucky's rivalry games against Louisville are set for April 8 and April 22. The team is entering its ninth season under head coach Nick Mingione, who led them to a 46-16 record in 2024.
