Kentucky woman arrested for kidnapping a missing juvenile

A woman in Scottsville, Kentucky, was arrested last week for kidnapping after police found a missing juvenile in her attic. Donna M. Spengler, 42, was taken into custody early on March 21. The Scottsville Police Department received a call about a missing juvenile possibly at Spengler’s home. When officers arrived, Spengler claimed she was the only person living there. However, after searching, police discovered the juvenile hidden in the attic. The missing juvenile was then placed in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center. Spengler faces several charges, including kidnapping and endangering the welfare of a minor. She is currently held at the Allen County Detention Center with a bond set at $50,000.
