Kerala Class 10 textbooks leaked before official launch

Kerala's Class 10 textbooks have been leaked online before their official release. The Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, was scheduled to present the revised editions in the Assembly on Tuesday. The leak involves Biology and Chemistry textbooks. These were initially shared on a blog run by state-paid teachers. The Biology textbook was made available as a PDF on Thursday, and the Chemistry textbook was scanned and posted on Saturday. Both English and Malayalam versions of the Biology textbook are included, as well as a Malayalam version of Chemistry. Students, teachers, and tuition centers are widely sharing the leaked materials. The Chemistry textbook's first chapter deals with organic compounds. Some claims suggest textbooks for other subjects may also be uploaded soon. The blog also features a list of topics and includes contact information. SCERT Director R K Jayaprakash confirmed the leaks and said that strict actions will be taken against this issue.
