Kerala man arrested for killing friend’s husband
A man in Kerala has been arrested for allegedly killing a goods auto driver on March 20. The incident occurred at the victim's under-construction house in Kaithapra at around 6:30 PM. The accused, named Santosh, had posted cryptic messages on Facebook both before and after the murder. One of the messages said, “Didn’t I tell you? not to do anything with my girl?” This message indicated he was upset because Radhakrishnan, the victim, was in a relationship with a woman who was friends with Santosh. Santosh's posts included a photo of him holding a country-made gun. Police are now looking into whether the weapon used was licensed. They have registered a murder case under Indian law. Later, after the murder, Santosh posted another message on Facebook. It stated, “I will bear it if I lose my life, but my girl... I won’t forgive you.” The police continue to investigate the case.
