Kerala summit focuses on environmental initiatives and water security

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will open a two-day environmental summit on Monday. This event is organized by Haritha Keralam Mission in honor of World Water Day. During the summit, the Chief Minister will release a document that outlines the water security approach for the Navakeralam initiative. Local Self-Government Minister MB Rajesh will be the chief guest. The summit will showcase the achievements of local bodies in areas such as water security, environmental restoration, and waste management. These efforts are led by the Haritha Keralam Mission. Additionally, Finance Minister KN Balagopal will launch a mobile app called Net-Zero Carbon Kerala. Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine will present a collection of essays on Navakeralam's environmental successes and a new map created for the Mapathon campaign.
