Kerala to export bottled water to Gulf countries

The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, will soon launch the export of bottled water to GCC countries. This announcement was made by Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine in the State Assembly on Thursday. The export will feature a brand called Hilly Aqua. This brand is part of the Kerala Irrigation Infrastructure Development Corporation (KIIDC). A three-year agreement has been signed with Arohana General Trading LLC, a company based in the United Arab Emirates. The bottled water will be exported to several countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar. The Hilly Aqua brand is also planning to introduce eco-friendly biodegradable bottles.
