Kerala's Aaditya Baiju selected for Under-19 Elite Camp

Aaditya Baiju, an 18-year-old fast bowler from Kerala, is making waves in the cricket world. He has a desire to play in the IPL and represent India. Aaditya, who developed his skills in the UAE, has been selected to join the Under-19 Boys Elite Camp 2025 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. This opportunity brings him closer to achieving his goals. Kerala's cricket scene is thriving. The state's Ranji Trophy team recently reached its first final in 68 years. Young players like Aaditya are helping to build Kerala's cricket reputation. Aaditya first gained attention during the Vinoo Mankad Trophy Under-19 tournament last year. He took 12 wickets in four matches, including a remarkable 7 for 67 against Uttarakhand. Aaditya moved back to Kerala after finishing his 10th grade to pursue his cricket dreams. Now a Grade 12 Commerce student, he is focused on his game. He consistently bowls at speeds of 135-140 km/h and made a strong impression in the Cooch Behar Under-19 Trophy. There, he took 10 wickets in five matches, including a six-wicket haul against Maharashtra. He has also received coaching from Australian cricket legend Glenn McGrath, who helped him understand how to handle various game situations. Recently, Aaditya practiced with the Kerala Ranji Trophy team, impressing head coach Amay Khurasiya with his fast bowling. Inspired by cricket legends like Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Dale Steyn, and Jasprit Bumrah, Aaditya is excited about his future. With his talent and hard work, he hopes to make it big in cricket.
