Kevin Holland fights often due to spending habits
Kevin Holland is staying busy in the UFC because of his spending habits. The fighter, with a record of 27 wins and 13 losses, has already competed twice in 2025. He recently defeated Gunnar Nelson by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 255 in London. Holland is known for being one of the most active fighters in the UFC. He fought five times in 2020 alone. After his latest win, he told reporters that even though he could slow down, his lifestyle keeps him in the ring. "I stay active because of the amount of money I spend these days," he said. He also talked about differences in weight classes. Holland feels he performs better at 170 pounds, but this could limit the number of fights he can take. He believes if he fights at 185 pounds, he could compete every weekend. Before winning against Nelson, Holland suffered a quick loss to Reinier de Ridder. He noted that facing stronger grapplers like Nelson is easier when he competes in a higher weight class. He commented on the advantages of size in the sport, highlighting the differences in grappling skills between fighters.
