Kevin Quiambao wins second consecutive UAAP MVP award
Kevin Quiambao has been named the UAAP MVP for the second consecutive year, leading the Season 87 men’s basketball tournament with 81.357 statistical points. He averaged 16.64 points, 8.64 rebounds, and 4.07 assists. Quiambao is the first La Salle player to win back-to-back MVPs since Ben Mbala in 2016-2017. He joins a select group of La Salle players who have won the MVP title twice. Far Eastern University's Veejay Pre is set to be named Rookie of the Year, marking the first time an FEU player has won since 2010. The individual awardees will be announced during the Finals Game 2.
