Kidnapping suspect dies by suicide after police pursuit

This pursuit ended when the suspect crashed into a tree in Reno. When officers tried to get him to surrender, he shot himself and died. There were no other individuals in the vehicle at the time. Authorities have not yet released the suspect's identity or age. Investigations into the shooting and his prior crimes are ongoing.
