Kilikoottam summer camp begins April 3 in Thycaud

The Kerala State Council for Child Welfare is launching its Kilikoottam summer camp. This camp will run from April 3 to May 25 at Government Model Lower Primary School in Thycaud. The camp is designed for children aged 9 to 16. It aims to provide a fun and engaging experience during the summer holidays. The theme is focused on creating a love-filled and friendly environment for children. Classes will be held in the morning until 12:30 p.m. After lunch, children will participate in various activities. These activities will include sports, arts, and practical learning experiences. Children will be divided into three age groups: 9-10, 11-12, and 13-16. They can choose from creative subjects like theatre, dance, and painting. There will also be opportunities to learn about science, mathematics, coding, and even karate. Additionally, the camp will focus on mental and physical health. Yoga, meditation, and health classes will be available. Students will also have the chance to go on tours and interact with people from different backgrounds. At the end of the camp, students will showcase what they have learned and created. This will happen during the last three days of the program.
